3.1 furniturefurniture

3.2 Greenhouse gases (GHG)

Naturally occurring and human-generated elements in the atmosphere that can absorb and disperse pollutants produced by the Earth's surface, atmosphere, and clouds.

Gaseous components of radiation with wavelengths in the infrared spectrum.

Note. The greenhouse gases mentioned in this document only include carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane (CH4).

3.3

The sum of GHG emissions and GHG removals in the product system, expressed in carbon dioxide equivalents, is based on the single factor of climate change.

Environmental impact types are subject to life cycle assessment.
