Terminal dimensions.

This document has undergone the following structural adjustments compared to ISO 8056-3:1987.

---A new chapter on "Normative References" has been added;

---A new chapter on "Terms and Definitions" has been added.

The technical differences between this document and ISO 8056-3:1987, and the reasons therefor, are as follows.

---Change the mounting hole diameter "5.0(5.3)2)" to "5.3" and "6.0(6.3)2)" to "6.3" (see Table 1), because the common domestic standard is...

Metric screw specifications are used, therefore the diameter of the mounting hole for metric screws is retained.

The following editorial changes have been made to this document.

---To harmonize with existing standards, the standard name has been changed to "Aircraft Nickel-Chromium/Nickel-Aluminum Thermocouple Extension Cables Part 3: Crimped Rings" Dimensions of shaped terminals;

---ISO 8056-2 has been replaced by GB/T 46343.2 (see Chapter 1), which is cited in the informational reference.

GB/T 46343 "Extension Cables for Nickel-Chromium-Nickel-Aluminum Thermocouples in Aircraft" specifies extension cables for nickel-chromium-nickel-aluminum thermocouples suitable for aircraft.

The general requirements, tests, and dimensions for conductors and terminations are proposed to consist of four parts.

1 Scope
