GB/T 46108-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the grading of preserved plant material sold as decoration — the plant stock and the dyes and bleaches allowed on it, the storage conditions of temperature, humidity, light and ventilation, the grades, the batch and the sampling, and the tests for overall appearance, damage rate, colour and moisture content, moisture being what decides whether a dried stem keeps its shape or collapses in a warm room. First edition, under the National Forestry and Grassland Administration. In force from 1 December 2025. Issued on 29 August 2025, it has been in force since 1 December 2025.

1 Scope

This document specifies the basic requirements, quality grading, grade determination, testing batches and sampling requirements for dried flowers, and describes the testing methods.

This document applies to dried plant flowers made primarily from plant flowers, leaves, fruits, and stems, processed using physical or chemical methods.

The quality grade of products (excluding pressed flowers, edible dried flowers, spice dried flowers, and leaf vein dried flowers) includes dried flower branches and dried leaf branches. Dried flowers and fruits.

3 Terms and Definitions

4 Basic Requirements

4.1 Plant materials

Flowers, petals, leaves, and fruits should be intact and natural in shape; branches should be intact, moderately hard, and not easily broken; and free from pests and diseases.

4.2 Chemical products

It should be non-toxic, odorless, and not easily faded after dyeing.

4.3 Storage conditions

Dried flower products should be stored separately and kept in environmental conditions that meet the product requirements, including temperature, humidity, light, and ventilation; when stacking, they should be...
