1 Scope

This document specifies the structure and classification, requirements, inspection rules, It also describes the requirements for marking, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. and the test methods for related performance.

This document is applicable to hoses and hose assemblies in choke and well-killing systems, conveying media such as mud and well-killing fluid, with an inner diameter of 51mm~ 102mm, the maximum working pressures are 34.5MPa, 69.0MPa, 103.5MPa, 138.0MPa respectively, and the working temperature is between -29°C~ 121°C hoses and hose assemblies.

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 7528 apply to this document.

4 Structure and classification

4.1 Hose

4.1.1 The hose consists of an inner lining layer, a reinforcement layer, and an outer covering layer (fire retardant layer). An armor layer may be provided upon request.

4.1.2 The inner lining is made of rubber or other polymer materials.

4.1.3 The reinforcement layer is composed of multiple strands of steel wire, steel rope and other materials.

4.1.4 The outer covering is composed of rubber or other polymer materials. The outer covering of hose assemblies with fire resistance requirements is required to have fire resistance properties.
