1 Scope

This document specifies the requirements, purpose and scope of carbon footprint quantification, life cycle inventory analysis and carbon footprint report preparation for electrical and electronic products.

The paper describes the total carbon footprint of electronic and electrical products and the carbon footprint quantification methods at each stage of their life cycle.

This document applies to the quantification of the carbon footprint of electronic and electrical products and partial carbon footprint of products, and is not applicable to carbon offsetting.
