Scope

GB/T 45795-2025 is the English-translated version of 大气颗粒物PM10、PM2.5质量浓度观测 光散射法.

GB/T 45795-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering measuring airborne particulate from the light it scatters — the optical principle and the conversion of scattered light into a mass concentration, the instrument and system, the indoor and outdoor siting, the installation and commissioning, the calibration of flow, of the sensors and of the concentration reading, which is what ties a scattering signal to a gravimetric result, and the data recording and averaging. First edition, with the air ion observation standard GB/T 45796-2025. Under the China Meteorological Administration. In force from 1 December 2025. Issued on 30 May 2025, it has been in force since 1 December 2025.
