1 Scope

This document describes the test principle, test substance information, instrumentation, test equipment, and test methods for the chemical surface water system-sediment toxicity test of loach Test systems, test procedures, quality assurance and quality control, data and reporting.

This document is applicable to the testing of toxic effects of chemicals on benthic organisms such as loaches in surface water environments, but not to the testing of volatile substances.
