GB/T 45398-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the platform where a requester publishes a task and unspecified workers volunteer to solve it — the parties and the service agreement between them, the operation models, the user management process, the task management process from publication to the selection of the winning solution, which is what separates crowdsourcing from ordinary outsourcing, the business functions the platform has to offer, and the support functions behind them. This document provides the crowdsourcing service platform workflow, defines the crowdsourcing service platform business functions (user management, task management) and platform General requirements for support functions.

This document applies to the design, development and implementation of crowdsourcing service platforms.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 task

A work activity carried out to achieve certain work goals.

3.2 TaskRequester

Initiate crowdsourcing service (3.4) tasks and be able to select the winning solution from the solutions provided by multiple contractors (3.3) to benefit individuals body or organization.

3.3 Receiving party taskworker

Individuals or organizations that participate in crowdsourcing services (3.4) tasks on a voluntary basis and are able to provide solutions to the contractor (3.2).

3.4 Crowdsourcing service

Crowdsourcing The contractor (3.2) publishes the task through the Internet information system in the form of free and voluntary participation, and selects multiple non-specific contractors.

(3.3) The activity of selecting the winning solution from among the solutions provided to complete the task.

3.5 Crowdsourcing Platform

Internet information that provides cooperation and related services for the contractor (3.2) and the contractor (3.3) to realize the function of crowdsourcing service (3.4) system.
