Introduction

According to the World Health Organization, approximately 466 million people suffer from hearing impairment, accounting for 6.1% of the total population[23]. Hearing aids are the most widely used this is a crucial issue for users, especially those who use hearing aids[40],[43],[44]. Personalized optimization of hearing aid effects requires careful consideration.

hearing aid fitting plans[43], "inappropriate fitting and discomfort" may lead to clients rejecting and returning hearing aids[44] and Hearing loss is aggravated by over-amplification. Therefore, the entire process of hearing aid fitting should be optimized to achieve functional benefits, user satisfaction and and effective funding.

When developing hearing aid fitting management standards, two realities were taken into consideration. First, the term "hearing aid fitting" is not commonly used in service provision.

It is widely used by researchers and industries[17],[45]~[47]. Secondly, its many interpretations may conflict with each other.

The World Health Organization has also issued the "Guidelines for Hearing Aids and Their Services in Developing Countries" to address this problem.

There are some problems[18],[19],[24]~[33],[35]~[38],[48],[49], but different understandings of fitting may lead to different service levels and varying results.

In many cases, this may lead to dissatisfaction with the use of hearing aids. Academic groups in the fields of otolaryngology, hearing intervention and rehabilitation in my country have also proposed the "Guidelines for Hearing Aid Fitting in China (Draft)" and "Guidelines for Hearing Aid Fitting (Trial)" were formulated to standardize the hearing aid fitting procedures and requirements, but there are still some the hearing aid fitting process is extensive, focusing on the fitting technology itself and lacking the standardization of service management. Therefore, it is necessary to promote the standardization of hearing aid fitting process at the national level.

A more unified understanding of the process.

Therefore, the main purpose of this document is to provide a general framework for the management of hearing aid fitting, including the various stages before and after fitting, so that it can be more the overall goal of the framework is to achieve as much as possible the best hearing rehabilitation can only be achieved through adequate knowledge, training, skills and a systematic fitting process in close cooperation with the client.

Based on the common practices of hearing aid fitters and the recommendations of various existing guidelines, this document summarizes the common framework of hearing aid fitting management.

The system is divided into 6 stages (customer file creation, consultation, hearing aid fitting, verification and effect confirmation, post-fitting guidance, and follow-up service).

By dividing the hearing aid fitting process into different stages, practitioners can systematically understand and implement service content to promote service excellence.

quality, user satisfaction, client-centeredness, client self-efficacy, and high adherence (e.g., continued use of hearing aids, attendance at follow-up appointments).

Each stage focuses on various aspects of the framework, such as communication skills, speech recognition, acoustic environment perception, user comfort and hearing aid sound quality.

In addition, this document can serve as a basis for cost assessment of each stage or each link of the framework.

Another possible application is to use this document as a tool for developing professional training programs for hearing aid fitting management.

The basic basis for time.
