Technical requirements for Chinese domain name encoding

1 Scope

This document specifies the encoding specifications for Chinese domain names used on the Internet system, as well as the preprocessing requirements for Chinese domain name fields.

The technical requirements for using international regional name codes to encode Chinese domain names were specified.

This document is applicable to domain name registration management institutions at all levels, domain name registration service providers, and software manufacturers who develop applications that support Chinese domain names.
