4.2 Class 1 trains
This category of passenger trains is typically used for long-distance passenger transport between major cities or regions, and is equipped with toilets and catering services.
Passenger cars typically feature comfortably spaced and well-designed seats, separated from the platform by inner end doors; some trains also include sleeper carriages.
The average travel time for passengers is usually more than 30 minutes, and the average stop time between consecutive stations is usually 15 to 30 minutes or longer.
Such as mainline railway trains, intercity trains, long-distance trains, and high-speed trains.
