1 Scope
This document provides the functional reference architecture and network reference architecture of the visual networking system, and specifies the application layer, service layer, network layer, and Functional requirements of the network layer and access layer as well as system security requirements.
This document applies to the design, development and application of visual networking systems.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Network Systems
Adopting hierarchical network architecture and layered addressing mechanism, it is aimed at the secure communication of audio and video information transmission in local and wide area networks.
3.2 Cascade
The process of connecting multiple visual networking systems to form a whole.
Note. In the cascade process, data, instructions or control signals are transferred from one system to another to achieve coordination and interaction between systems.

Equipment that enables information communication within a visual networking system.
Note. Visual networking equipment mainly includes core switching equipment, visual networking terminals, video access gateways and data access gateways.
