Safety requirements and test methods for ski resort safety nets

1 Scope

This document specifies the classification, requirements, test methods and product instructions and marking for ski resort safety nets and describes the test methods.

This document applies to safety nets used at ski resorts.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

4 Categories

According to function, it is divided into A network, B network and C network.

Net A is a protective net, which is mainly set up on the outermost side of the snow slope to prevent skiers from running out of the snow slope and protect skiers on the inner side of the snow slope.

Net B is a buffer net, which is mainly set up on the ski slope. It intercepts out-of-control skiers by buffering them and forces them to stop in time.

C net is an isolation net, which is mainly used to divide areas, set up channels, guide traffic, and control crowd flow. It does not have a protective function.
