Introduction

GB/T 43432 "Barcol Hardness Test of Metal Materials" aims to standardize the test methods and inspection of test instruments for Barcol hardness. It is planned to be composed of three composed of parts.

---Part 1. Test methods. The purpose is to establish the procedures and methods to be followed for Barcol hardness testing.

---Part 2. Inspection and calibration of hardness tester. The purpose is to stipulate the technical requirements and inspection and calibration methods that the Barcol hardness tester must meet.

1 Scope

This document specifies the Barcol standard hardness block (hereinafter referred to as the standard hardness block) used for indirect inspection of the Barcol hardness tester according to GB/T 43432.2. Calibration method of standard block).

3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 36416.1 apply to this document.

4 Manufacturing of standard blocks

4.1 Standard blocks should be specially manufactured. The manufacturing process of the standard block should ensure that the standard block obtains the necessary homogeneity, structural stability and hardness. Uniformity.
