1 Scope
This part of GB/T 4341 specifies the Shore hardness tester (hereinafter referred to as hardness) for the determination of Shore hardness according to GB/T 4341.1.

3 General requirements
Before the hardness tester is tested, the hardness tester should be checked to ensure that.
a) the correct installation of hardness, so that the test bench in a horizontal state;
b) operate the handwheel, so that the measuring tube along the rail, the next flexible and can apply the appropriate force on the sample;
c) Slowly turn the knob to the appropriate position (D type) or rubber ball exhaust (type C) so that the punch can fall freely.

4 direct inspection
4.1 General
4.1.1
Direct inspection is only applicable to D-type Shore durometer. The direct test should be carried out at a temperature in the range of 10 ° C to 35 ° C, as in this temperature
Beyond the scope of the test, it should be marked in the inspection report/certificate.
4.1.2
Test items, inspection equipment and its technical performance in Table 1, the use of measuring instruments should be traceable to the national benchmark.
