Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting.

This document is modified to adopt IEC 61174:2015 "Maritime navigation and radiocommunication equipment and systems Electronic chart display and information system" (ECDIS) Operational and Performance Requirements, Test Methods and Required Test Results".

The technical differences between this document and IEC 61174:2015 and their reasons are as follows.

---Delete 3.1.32 and add the abbreviation RTS in 3.2 for ease of use;

---Add CPA, TCPA, IHB, and NAVTEX to the abbreviations in 3.2 for ease of use;

--- Figure I.2 in normative appendix I has been deleted. The example track chart in the North Atlantic is not applicable to my country's national conditions.

The following editorial changes have been made to this document.

---Deleted the note before G.1 in Appendix G;

---Deleted Figure J.1, Figure J.2, Figure N.1 and Figure N.2.
