1 Scope

This document describes the compaction curve method for determining the transportable moisture limit (TML) of bulk iron ore fines.

This document is applicable to the determination of the transportable moisture limit of iron ore meeting the following two conditions at the same time.

a) The mass fraction of delivery batch with particle size less than 1mm is greater than or equal to 10%;

b) The mass fraction of the delivery batch with particle size less than 10mm is greater than or equal to 50%.
