Scope

GB/T 42347-2023 is the English-translated version of 机械预冷设备通用技术要求与试验方法.

GB/T 42347-2023 is the Chinese national standard for the mechanical equipment that pre-cools fresh produce after harvest. It fixes the types, models and conditions of use, the technical requirements and the test methods, and a normative annex defines the test package and its loading for the full-load cooling test of cold-air equipment.

Clause 1 applies it to cold-air and vacuum pre-cooling machines used on fruit, vegetables, flowers and edible fungi, says cold or iced water equipment may use it for reference, and excludes pre-cooling rooms in cold stores that are cooled by the refrigeration system of the store, except where a pre-cooling unit supplies the conditions of one such room on its own.

Among the standards it quotes are GB 16798 and GB/T 22360. Issued on 17 March 2023, it has applied since 1 October 2023.

Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules for Standardization Documents" drafting.

1 Scope

This document specifies the types, models, service conditions, technical requirements and test methods of mechanical pre-cooling equipment (hereinafter referred to as "pre-cooling equipment") law etc.

This document is applicable to cold air pre-cooling and vacuum pre-cooling machines for post-harvest pre-cooling of fresh agricultural products such as fruits, vegetables, flowers, and edible fungi.

Mechanical pre-cooling equipment, cold (ice) water pre-cooling mechanical pre-cooling equipment can be implemented by reference.

This document does not apply to the pre-cooling room in the cold storage that is cooled by the mechanical refrigeration system, but the pre-cooling unit independently provides an environment for a certain pre-cooling room. Except for the pre-cooling system of environmental conditions.

2 Normative references

The contents of the following documents constitute the essential provisions of this document through normative references in the text. Among them, dated references For documents, only the version corresponding to the date is applicable to this document; for undated reference documents, the latest version (including all amendments) is applicable to this document.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions defined in JB/T 7249 apply to this document.

3.1 Pre-cooling

After the agricultural products are harvested and before long-distance transportation, sales or storage, the heat in the field is quickly removed through necessary devices or facilities, so that it can be reduced as soon as possible. to a suitable temperature range for operation.

3.2 Mechanical pre-cooling equipment

Using cooling methods such as cold air cooling, cold (ice) water cooling or vacuum cooling, the object to be cooled can be rapidly reduced from the initial temperature to the required final temperature.

It is a mechanical device to realize the pre-cooling of the object to be cooled.

Note 1. Mechanical pre-cooling equipment generally consists of a pre-cooling unit and a pre-cooling box.

Note 2. Cold air cooling refers to the cooling method that cools the object by exchanging heat between the cold air and the object to be cooled; cold (ice) water cooling refers to the method of cooling the object by cold (ice) water The cooling method in which the object is cooled by exchanging heat; vacuum cooling refers to the method of cooling the object by evaporating part of the water in the vacuum state. cooling method.
