GB/T 41815.4-2026 is the English-translated version of 信息技术生物特征识别呈现攻击检测第4部分：移动设备测试轮廓.

Part 4 of the series on biometric presentation attack detection provides a profile for testing mobile devices. Presentation attack detection is the capability of a biometric system to recognise spoofing attempts such as artificial fingerprints or photographs, and this part tailors the testing approach to smartphones and similar devices. The standard adopts an international standard.

Handset makers, biometric module suppliers, security evaluators, test laboratories and developers of mobile authentication software are the intended readers. It replaces GB/T 37036.8-2022, a document with a different number, which indicates that the subject has been moved into this series.

As a recommended national standard (GB/T), it is voluntary unless a contract or program requires it. Companies selling mobile devices in China, or evaluating biometric security features there, can use it to see how testing is structured under the national standard. It becomes effective on 1 April 2027.

This edition replaces GB/T 37036.8-2022.
