GB/T 41812-2022 is the English-translated version of 自动移液工作站性能检测通则.
GB/T 41812-2022 is the Chinese national general rule for testing the performance of an automatic liquid handling, or pipetting, workstation, equipment that moves liquid by machine on the liquid-displacement or air-displacement principle.
It fixes the general requirements, the general principles and the performance indicators of the test and describes the test methods and the calculation of results; the general requirements cover the reagents, analytical grade with grade-1 water to GB/T 6682, the pipetting tips and other consumables, which have to match the workstation or its manual, and the appearance of the instrument, down to scratches, rust spots, indentations and the clarity of the markings explaining its functions.
It applies to performance testing of these workstations and says automatic nucleic acid extractors may refer to it. Issued on 12 October 2022, it applied the same day.

1 Scope

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Liquid Handling Workstation
Based on the principle of liquid displacement or air displacement pipetting, it is an automatic equipment that completes liquid handling such as pipetting through machine operation.
4 General requirements
4.1 Reagents
Unless otherwise specified, only analytical reagents are used, and the water should be grade-1 water in accordance with GB/T 6682. Reagents and tests used for testing The kit should meet the requirements of the manual of the automatic liquid pipetting workstation, or match with the automatic liquid pipetting workstation.
4.2 Consumables
Pipetting tips and other consumables should meet the requirements of the manual of the automatic liquid pipetting workstation, or match the automatic liquid pipetting workstation.
4.3 Appearance of the instrument
4.3.1 There are no obvious scratches, rust spots, or indentations on the surface of the instrument, and the surface is smooth.
