Scope
GB/T 41736-2022 is the English-translated version of 高体积分数碳化硅颗粒铝基复合材料.
GB/T 41736-2022 is the Chinese product standard for high volume fraction silicon carbide particulate aluminium matrix composites, that is aluminium matrix composites in which the volume fraction of silicon carbide particles is greater than 45 %.
It specifies the classification and marking, the technical requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules, together with packaging, transport, storage and marking, and applies to the composites used in making precision instruments and electronic components.
The test methods are those of the documents it cites, among them GB/T 3045-2017 for the chemical analysis of silicon carbide, GB/T 20975 for the chemical analysis of aluminium and aluminium alloys, GB/T 32496-2016 for the volume content of the reinforcement and GJB 332A-2004 for the coefficient of linear expansion. Issued on 14 October 2022, it has applied since 1 May 2023.
