Scope
GB/T 41703-2022 is the English-translated version of 商业或工业用及类似用途的热泵热水系统设计、安装、验收规范.
GB/T 41703-2022 tells designers and installers how heat pump hot water systems for commercial, industrial and similar use are to be designed, installed and accepted.
It applies to systems driven by an electric motor on a vapour compression refrigeration cycle, with a nominal heating capacity of 3000 W or more, taking heat from air or water to supply domestic hot water; heat pump hot water heating systems and systems for other purposes may refer to it.
Besides the symbols, the system design, the system installation and the engineering acceptance, it carries normative annexes on the user's maximum daily water consumption, the hot water quotas and temperatures for sanitary appliances, the calculated cold water temperature, the hourly variation coefficient Kh and hot melt operation. Issued on 14 October 2022, it has applied since 1 May 2023.

3.1 Domestic hot water
Hot water for bathing and toileting.
3.2 Heat pump hot water system
A system that absorbs thermal energy from the environment (air or water) to produce and supply hot water by operating a heat pump hot water unit.
Note: Including heat pump water heater, hot water storage tank (tank), circulating pump and other components.
3.3 Centralized hot water supply system
A system for supplying one (excluding single villas), several buildings or supplying hot water required by one or more functional departments in a multifunctional single building.
3.4 Full-time hot water supply system
Systems that supply hot water uninterrupted throughout the day, during work shifts or during business hours.
3.5 Hourly variation coefficient
The ratio of the maximum water consumption to the average water consumption.
