1 Scope

This document specifies the dimensions and clearance area of the connection between the articulated steering gear tractor and the trailer of the agricultural semi-trailer, and also specifies the

Maximum allowable force at the joint of the articulated steering gear.

This document is only applicable to use with GB/T 19408.5 and specifies a spherical (mechanical) connection device with a nominal diameter of 80mm.

This document does not apply to the verification of the mechanical strength of articulated steering gear connections, nor does it apply to mechanical connection devices; this document does not cover hinged
