Scope
GB/T 41389-2022 is the English-translated version of 信息安全技术 SM9密码算法使用规范.
GB/T 41389-2022 is the Chinese application specification of the SM9 identity-based cryptographic algorithm. It sets the requirements for using the algorithm and describes the data formats of the keys, of the encrypted data and of the signatures, so that two implementations can work together.
It applies to the correct and standard use of SM9 and guides the development and the testing of the equipment and systems that implement it. Cryptographic device makers, software developers and test bodies use it. Issued on 15 April 2022, it has applied since 1 November 2022.
