1 Scope

This standard specifies the technical specifications and test methods for reinforced and non-reinforced thermoplastic collapsible hoses, which are used for transportation and distribution

Main pipelines and branch pipelines for irrigation water whose temperature is not higher than 50 degrees C.

This standard applies to irrigation with a nominal diameter of 40mm~500mm and a working pressure of 0.3bar (0.03MPa) to 6bar (0.6MPa).

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Hose

Flexible pipes for pressurized water delivery.

3.2

Collapsible hose

When there is no internal pressure, it is folded into a hose with the inner cavity surface almost touching or closed, and the hose section is flat.

Reinforced hose

A hose that incorporates a layer of material or other components in the pipe wall to improve its mechanical properties.
