5.1.4.2 Method 2-Calculate the breaking force (after rope making)
5.1.4.2.1 Accumulate the breaking force of the monofilament after splitting and multiply it by any of the following coefficients.

b) The partial twist loss coefficient obtained through the type test.
5.1.4.2.2 The partial twist loss coefficient used in the calculation is the lowest value among the three values obtained in the type test.
5.1.4.2.3 For triangular strand steel wire rope, the strand core can be calculated as a single wire.
5.1.4.2.4 The steel wire tensile test method shall comply with the provisions of D.2 or GB/T 228.1.
Note: The breaking force value determined by Method 2 is called "calculating (after making rope) breaking force".
5.1.4.2.5 When method 2 is used for periodic tests (see Table 4), and the calculated (after rope making) breaking force is smaller than the design value, method 1 can be used. Experiment again.
5.1.4.2.6 If the measured (actual) value still cannot meet the design breaking force value, the design breaking force value can be reduced to less than the actual measured value.
Then perform the type test again in accordance with Method 1.In this case, the grade of the wire rope can be determined according to the reduced breaking force value, or it can be heavy. new design.
5.1.4.3 Method 3-Calculate the breaking force (before rope making)
5.1.4.3.1 Accumulate the breaking force of the monofilament before making the rope and multiply it by the total twist loss coefficient obtained through the type test. Used for calculation The total twist loss coefficient is the lowest of the three values obtained in the type test.
5.1.4.3.2 The steel wire strength inspection shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 228.1.
Note: The breaking force value determined by Method 3 is called "calculation (before rope making) breaking force".
5.1.4.3.3 When method 3 is used for periodical test (periodical test shall comply with the provisions of Table 4), and the breaking force ratio design (before rope making) is calculated If the value is small, you can use method 1 to test again.
5.1.4.3.4 If the measured (actual) value still cannot meet the expected breaking force value, the design breaking force value can be reduced to less than the actual measured value.
Value, and then perform the type test again in accordance with Method 1.In this case, the grade of the wire rope can be determined according to the reduced breaking force value. Can be redesigned.
