Foreword

GB/T 39078 "Safety Requirements for Escalators and Moving Walks" is divided into the following two parts.

---Part 1.Basic safety requirements;

---Part 2.Safety parameters that meet basic safety requirements.

This part is Part 1 of GB/T 39078.

This section was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This part uses the redrafting law to amend and adopt ISO /T S25740-1.2011 "Safety requirements for escalators and moving walks-Part 1.

Global Basic Safety Requirements (GESR).

Compared with ISO /T S25740-1.2011, this part has made the following structural adjustments.

---The introduction and scope are numbered for ease of application.

The technical differences between this part and ISO /T S25740-1.2011 and the reasons are as follows.

---Regarding normative reference documents, this section has made adjustments with technical differences to adapt to my country's technical conditions and adjustments.

The situation is collectively reflected in Chapter 2 "Normative Reference Documents", and the specific adjustments are as follows.

* Replace ISO /IEC Guide51.2014 with the modified GB/T 20002.4-2015 which adopts international standards (see 4.2.1,

4.3, 5.3.1);

* Replace ISO /T S14798.2006 with GB/T 20900-2007 equivalent to the international standard (see 4.2.3, 4.3,

5.2.1, 5.2.2.2, 5.2.3, 5.2.4.1, 5.2.5, 5.3.3.1, 5.3.3.2.2).

This section has made the following editorial changes.

---In the source label defined in 3.8, 3.9, 3.10, 3.11, 3.24, 3.25 and 3.26, GB/T 20900-2007 is replaced

ISO /IEC Guide51.1999; In 3.4, 3.5 and 3.28, the source of the definition is marked; in 3.7, a note is added.

---ISO /T S25740-1.2011 Chapter 4 is about the background, approach and method of the formulation of this international standard, which is suitable for listing in the introduction

In order to facilitate the application, this section still retains the chapter. However, the content that is not suitable for my country's national conditions has been deleted.

Introduction

0.1 In the process of formulating GB/T 39078, GB/T 20900 is the basic tool.

The purpose of 0.2 GB/T 39078 is.

a) For people who use escalators and moving walks or related to escalators and moving walks, a general safety level is specified.

b) In order to promote the innovation of escalator and moving walk technology not covered by the current national standards, while ensuring that the same safety is maintained

1.2 This section applies to escalators and moving walks that carry people. These escalators and moving walks can.
