Foreword

This Part of GB/T 3903 identically adopts the International Standard ISO

17695.2004 Footwear - Test methods for uppers - Deformability (English

version).

For easy use, this Part makes the following editorial modifications.

a) modified "this International Standard" to "this Part";

b) used decimal point "." to replace "," which was used as decimal point;

c) deleted the foreword of ISO 17695.2004;

d) deleted the table of contents of ISO 17695.2004;

e) directly used a national standard as reference which is corresponding to

the International standard that was used as reference in ISO 17695.2002.

This Part was proposed by China Light Industry Association.

This Part shall be under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee on

Footwear of Standardization Administration of China.

Industry, Guohui (China) Company Limited, Zhejiang Red Dragonfly Footwear

Company Limited.

1 Scope

This Part of GB/T 3903 specifies a test method for determining deformability of

uppers or complete upper assembly, irrespective of the material, in order to

assess the suitability for the end use.

This Part is applicable to uppers irrespective of the material.

2 Normative references

The following standards contain the provisions which, through reference in this

Part of GB/T 3903, constitute the provisions of this Part. For dated references,

subsequent amendments (excluding corrections) or revisions do not apply to

this Part. However, the parties who enter into agreement based on this Part are

encouraged to investigate whether the latest versions of these documents are

applicable. For undated reference documents, the latest versions apply to this

Part.
