Foreword

This Standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This Standard replaces GB/T 3903.13-2005 "Footwear - Test methods for

outsoles - Dimensional stability"; compared with GB/T 3903.13-2005, the major

technical changes are as follows:

-- Modify normative references; use ISO standards to replace EU standards

(see Chapter 2; Chapter 2 of version 2005);

-- Modify the definition of dimensional stability and add a note (see 3.1; 3.1

of version 2005);

-- Modify the test report requirements (see Chapter 8; Chapter 8 of version

2005);

The translation method used in this Standard is equivalent to ISO 20873:2018

"Footwear - Test methods for outsoles - Dimensional stability".

international documents that are referenced in this Standard are as follows:

For convenience of use, this Standard makes the following editorial changes:

-- Add a note to the clause (see Clause 7), "Note: According to customer

needs, it can be noted, after the test result, that the sample change is

shrinkage or extension".

1 Scope

This Standard specifies the method for determining the linear change rate of

the dimensions after heating of footwear outsole materials.

and after heating under specified conditions.
