Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard uses the redrafting method to amend and adopt ISO 22414.2004 "Determination of Edge Quality of Office Paper After Paper Cutting".

Compared with ISO 22414.2004, this standard has adjustments in structure, as follows.

--- Express the sampling rules in 6.1 in the form of a table, which is more intuitive and clear;

--- Merge 6.2 and 6.3 in ISO 22414.2004 into 6.2, which collectively describes the requirements for sample paper;

---ISO 22414.2004 adjusted from 6.5 to 6.3;

---The 8.1, 8.2, and 8.3 of ISO 22414.2004 are merged into Chapter 8 to adapt to the habit of expressing test results in our country.

The technical differences between this standard and ISO 22414.2004 and the reasons are as follows.

---Regarding normative reference documents, this standard has made adjustments with technical differences to adapt to my country's technical conditions and adjustments

It is collectively reflected in Chapter 2 "Normative Reference Documents", and the specific adjustments are as follows.

* Replace ISO 186 with GB/T 450 which is modified to adopt international standards;

* Replace ISO 187 with GB/T 10739, which is equivalent to the international standard;

* ISO 216 has been deleted.

---Adjust the scope of application, "This method is applicable to the paper specified in ISO 216, but also to other printing and copying

"Office paper" is deleted to be consistent with the standard name and standard content.

--- Adjusted the content of the results to make the content of the results more clear (see Chapter 8).

---The magnification of the observation equipment is increased, and the selected magnification is required to be indicated in the test report to suit my country's national conditions (see

5.1, Chapter 9).

--- 6.4 in ISO 22414.2004 has been deleted, and the test has nothing to do with the paper orientation.

This standard has made the following editorial changes.

---The standard name has been changed to conform to our country's usage habits.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the method for measuring the edge quality of office paper after cutting.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1

Edgequality

An estimate of the degree of jagged edges of the cut paper.

Note. The edge quality is expressed as a numerical value.

Office paper after cutting cut-sizeofficepapers

Basic size office paper

Paper with a basis weight of 60.0g/m2~150g/m2 for writing and/or various printing and copying equipment.

Note. Rewrite 3.6 in GB/T 22893-2008.

Make ream

A pack of 500 sheets of exactly the same paper.

Note. In many countries, "Ling" usually refers to other quantities, such as 480 sheets. For cases other than 500 sheets, other terms can be used, such as "package".

4 Principle

The edge quality of the paper is evaluated by comparing the edge of the paper with a series of standard gaps on the quality measuring board (see Appendix A).

Each gap is represented by the distance between two parallel lines. When testing, the edge of the paper needs to be enlarged 42 times or 44 times, and the enlarged image of the edge of the paper is used

Like contrast with the standard gap. Measure the distance between the highest point and the lowest point of the edge of the paper on a test length greater than.200mm after magnification.
