Foreword

GB/T 38048 "Surface Cleaning Apparatus" is divided into the following parts.

--- Part 1. General requirements for test materials and equipment;

--- Part 2. Test methods for performance of dry vacuum cleaners for household and similar purposes;

--- Part 3. Performance test methods for wet carpet cleaning appliances.

This part is the third part of GB/T 38048.

This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This part uses the translation method equivalent to IEC 62885-3.2014 "Surface cleaning equipment part 3. wet carpet cleaning utensils

1 Scope

This part of GB/T 38048 applies to wet cleaning appliances for household and similar cleaning carpets. This section does not apply to steam cleaning

Clean utensils.

The purpose of this section is to.

--- specifies the basic performance characteristics of wet cleaning appliances;

--- Test methods describing these performance characteristics as well;

--- Supplement to the test method of IEC 60312-1 dry vacuum cleaner.

Note. Due to environmental conditions, time changes, test materials and the level of operation, when conducting comparative tests at the same time, under the same laboratory conditions,

Tests are performed by the same operator, and most of the test methods can obtain credible test results.

For safety requirements, see IEC 60335-1 and IEC 60335-2-2.

Hard floor wet cleaning test methods are under consideration.
