This section was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

The translation method used in this section is equivalent to the use of IEC 62715-1-1..2013 "Flexible display devices Part 1-1. Terminology and text symbols".

2.2 Basic terms

Flexibility

Mechanical flexibility against external mechanical stress.

Flexible display device

Flexible display that can mechanically bend in one or more steps of substrate processing, production, storage, use, operation, transportation and installation

The display screen or flexible display mode is fast.

Note 1. Flexible display devices usually refer to bendable, fixed curved, rollable or foldable devices.

Note 2. In general, flexible display devices have good reliability and are not easily damaged by rough use.

Flexible display device with external drive, optical film and other input/output interactive films (such as touch screen or sensing film).

Flexible display device without external drive circuit.
