Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard uses the redrafting method to modify the use of ISO 21898.2004 "Packaging Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers for Non-Dangerous Goods".

The technical differences between this standard and ISO 21898.2004 and their reasons are as follows.

The situation is reflected in Chapter 2, "Regulatory Citations", and the specific adjustments are as follows.

* Replace ISO 12048 with GB/T 4857.4 equivalent to the international standard (see E.2, E.3);

* Replace ISO 13934-1 with GB/T 3923.1 modified with international standards (see 6.2.1, B.3);

* Added references to GB/T 1447 (see 6.2.1), GB/T 16422.3 (see B.2), GB/T 25159 (see Chapter 3);

* The referenced ISO /IEC 17025 has been removed.

* References to the terms and definitions defined by the standard GB 25159;

1 Scope

This standard specifies the classification, requirements, tests, signs, etc. of flexible intermediate bulk containers for non-dangerous goods (hereinafter referred to as medium bulk containers).

This standard applies to medium-dispersion containers for non-dangerous goods such as powdery or granular solids or pastes.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 25159 apply to this document.

3.1

Flexible intermediate bulk container flexibleintermediatebulkcontainer;FIBC

Made of a flexible material (eg woven fabric, plastic film or paper) that can be brought into contact with the contents directly or through the lining, foldable when vacant

Medium bulk container.

3.2

Repose angle reposefulangle

The static angle between the material stacking slope and the bottom horizontal plane at rest.

3.3

Rated load safeworkingload

The medium bulk container is approved for the determined maximum load.

3.4

Safety factor safetyfactor

The final quotient of the load determined in the periodic lifting test divided by the rated load.
