Scope

GB/T 37321-2019 is the English-translated version of 石膏及石膏制品中形态硫化学分析方法.

GB/T 37321-2019 specifies chemical analysis methods for the different forms of sulfur, namely sulfite, sulfide, elemental sulfur and sulfate, in gypsum and gypsum products.

Clause 1 states that it applies to the determination of those forms in natural gypsum, flue gas desulfurization gypsum, phosphogypsum, fluorogypsum and other gypsum raw materials and in gypsum products, and sets no exclusions.

Clause 3 defines formal sulfur as the sulfur present in the form of sulfites, sulfides, elemental sulfur and sulfates in gypsum and gypsum products.

The analytical clauses are arranged one method at a time: the continuous determination of sulfites and sulfides by ion chromatography, the separation of sulfides by ion chromatography, the determination of elemental sulfur by ion chromatography and again by liquid chromatography, and the determination of sulfate, followed by a clause on the test report and a normative Appendix A on the acceptance procedures for analysis results.

Clause 4 sets the basic requirements common to all of them, that the reagents be not lower than analytical grade and the water meet the secondary water requirements of GB/T 6682, that the density of the concentrated liquid reagents listed be taken at 20 C in grams per cubic centimetre, that each measurement be made twice and reported as the average of the two results with their validity judged by the procedure in Appendix A, and that a blank test be run with the same amount of reagent and no sample; clause 5 covers the preparation of the sample.

The introduction carries a patent declaration: complying with the document may involve two patents, ZL201210384906.9 and ZL201310009136.4, whose holder has assured the issuing organization that it is willing to negotiate licences on reasonable and non-discriminatory terms, while the issuing organization takes no position on their authenticity, validity or scope and does not undertake to identify any further patents that may be involved.

Clause 2 cites GB/T 5484, GB/T 6682 and GB/T 8170. The draft on this page breaks off inside clause 4, so none of the analytical procedures themselves is shown. It was issued on 2019-03-25 and has applied since 2020-02-01.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Formal sulfur

Sulfur in the form of sulfites, sulfides, elemental sulfur and sulfates in gypsum and gypsum products.

4 Basic requirements of the test

4.1 Reagents

Unless otherwise stated, the reagents used in the test shall not be lower than the analytical grade, and the water used shall meet the secondary water requirements specified in GB/T 6682.

The density of commercially available concentrated liquid reagents listed in this standard refers to a density (rho) at 20 ° C in grams per cubic centimeter (g/cm 3 ).

The acid used is not a concentration of any of the commercially available concentrated acids.

4.2 Number of tests and requirements

The number of tests for each measurement is specified as two times, and the average of the results of the two tests is used to indicate the measurement results. Validity of results Follow the procedure in Appendix A.

4.3 Blank test

Unless otherwise specified, the same amount of reagent is used, no sample is added, and the test is performed according to the same measurement procedure. Make corrections.
