Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard uses the redrafting method to modify the use of ISO 16409.2006 "dental oral cleaning supplies manual interdental brush".

This standard has more structural adjustments than ISO 16409.2006. This standard and ISO 16409.2006 are listed in Appendix A.

The chapter number is compared to the list.

There are technical differences between this standard and ISO 16409.2006, and the terms involved in these differences have been passed on the outer margins of the margins.

The vertical single line (|) is marked, and a list of the corresponding technical differences and their causes is given in Appendix B.

This standard incorporates amendments to ISO 16409.2006/Amd.1.2010, and the provisions of these amendments have been adopted.

This standard applies to manual interdental brushes.

This standard does not apply to electric interdental brush and glue interdental brush.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1

Manual interdental brush manualinterdentalbrush

A device that is driven by hand and has a ray-like divergent brush on the trunk for cleaning the interdental space.

3.2

Interdental brushhead

A portion of a manual interdental brush that moves inside and outside the interdental to clean the interstitial surface.

Note. The brush head can be replaceable or non-replaceable, but should be fixed during use.

3.3

Interdental brush handle

A grip portion of a manual interdental brush for fixing the trunk.

3.4

Main stem

It consists of a wound metal wire that is used to hold the wire and support the part of the brush head.

Brush filament

a filament fixed to the trunk.
