GB/T 36812-2018 is the English-translated version of 马铃薯黄矮病毒分子生物学检测方法.
GB/T 36812-2018 is the Chinese national molecular biological method for detecting Potato yellow dwarf virus (PYDV), a Nucleorhabdovirus of the family Rhabdoviridae.
It gives the basic information on the virus and the principle of the method, and covers both conventional RT-PCR and real-time fluorescent RT-PCR, with the reagents for each listed in annexes.
The standard sets out the instruments, from high-speed refrigerated centrifuges and PCR and fluorescence PCR instruments to gel imaging systems, the appliances such as adjustable pipettes, and the reagents, with water to GB/T 6682, sampling to SN/T 2122 and general practice to SN/T 2964 and SN/T 3457.
It applies to the quarantine and identification of plants and plant products that may carry the virus. It was issued on 17 September 2018 and has applied since 1 April 2019.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the molecular biological detection method of potato yellow dwarf virus (Potatoyellowdwarfvirus).
This standard applies to quarantine and identification of plants and plant products that may carry potato yellow dwarf virus.

4 Principle of the method
The molecular biological characteristics of potato yellow dwarf virus are the main basis for the development of this test method.
5 Instruments, utensils and reagents
5.1 Instrument
High-speed refrigerated centrifuge, electronic balance, PCR instrument, fluorescence PCR instrument, horizontal electrophoresis system, -20 ° C low temperature refrigerator and -80 ° C ultra low Warm refrigerator, gel imaging analysis system, pH meter, microwave oven, magnetic stirrer, constant temperature water bath, autoclave, ultra-clean workbench, etc.
5.2 Appliances
