Scope
GB/T 36538-2018 is the English-translated version of 再制造/再生静电复印(包括多功能)设备.
GB/T 36538-2018 sets the requirements for remanufactured and reconditioned electrostatic copying equipment, including multi-function devices.
It distinguishes the remanufactured machine, fully disassembled and rebuilt with remanufacturing technology to a quality not lower than that of the original model, from the reconditioned machine, which is disassembled, inspected, cleaned and repaired or fitted with replacement parts.
For each of the two it gives technical requirements and test methods, followed by inspection rules with inspection items and classification, sampling plan and decision rules, and by requirements for marking, packaging, transport and storage.
It applies to devices of A3 format and below that work on the electrostatic imaging principle with toner, heat fixing and plain paper, and other electrostatic imaging devices can refer to it. It was issued on 13 July 2018 and has applied since 1 February 2019.

Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
Introduction
Waste copying (including multi-function) equipment is a large-scale office automation product, but also a large amount of discarded electronic and electrical products, abandoned Copying (including multi-function) equipment can be technically processed to extend the life cycle of the product, saving resources and protecting the environment.
Copying (including multi-function) equipment involves a variety of disciplines and technical fields, product structure is complex, high precision, a wide variety of materials.
If the technical measures taken during the remanufacturing process are improper, it will not only achieve the purpose of reuse, but will create a new environment. problem.
This standard promotes consumer rights and regulates the regulation of remanufactured/recycled and remanufactured/recycled products to promote office equipment. The healthy development of the remanufacturing/recycling industry will play a positive role.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, and packages for remanufactured/regenerated electrostatic copying (including multi-function) equipment. Loading, transport and storage.
This standard applies to the remanufacturing/regeneration of A3 format and below using toner, heat fixing and plain paper based on the principle of electrostatic imaging. Print (including multi-function) equipment (hereinafter referred to as the product). Other devices based on the principle of electrostatic imaging can be referred to.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 21202-2007 and GB/T 29793-2013 apply to this document.
3.1 Electrostatic copying (including multi-function) devices
After converting the original image or text into a digital signal and performing digital processing, it is electrostatically imaged by scanning and recovered with toner. Print, which includes one or more additional features, such as printing, faxing, scanning, networking, etc.
3.2 Remanufacturing machine
Fully disassemble used electrostatic copying (including multi-function) equipment and components, using advanced remanufacturing technology, production process, and replacement After reassembling the parts, reassemble them to make the electrophotographic (including multi-function) equipment (3.1) with the quality characteristics not lower than the prototype level.
3.3 Regenerator
Disassemble the waste xerox (including multi-function) equipment and parts, and reassemble after inspection, cleaning, repair or replacement of parts After that, the main quality characteristics of the prototype are the new level of electrostatic copying (including multi-function) equipment (3.1).
