Foreword

GB/T 36148 "Marine and marine technology marine environmental protection boom" is divided into the following four parts.

This part is the second part of GB/T 36148.

This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This section uses the translation method equivalent to ISO 17325-2.2014 "Ship and Offshore Technology Marine Environmental Protection Boom No. 2

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions as defined by ISO 16165 apply to this document.

Freshwater freshwater

Water with a salinity of less than 500 mg/L (0.5 ppt).

Salt water saltwater

Water with a salinity greater than 32,000 mg/L (32 ppt).
