Foreword
This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting.
This document replaces GB/T 33820-2017 "Metallic materials - Ductility test - High-speed compression test method for porous and cellular metals" Compared with GB/T 33820-2017, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) Added symbols and instructions (see Chapter 4);
b) Deleted "When the porosity is obviously uneven, the multiple may be appropriately increased" [see 7.2b), Note to 6.2b) of the 2017 edition];
c) The regulations on the use of adhesives have been changed [see 8.2b), 7.2b of the 2017 edition];
d) The coordinate axis symbols of all graphs were adjusted and modified;
e) The unit of compressive stress has been changed (see 10.2, 9.2 of the 2017 edition).
This document is equivalent to ISO 17340:2020 "Metallic materials – Ductility tests – High-speed compression test method for cellular and cellular metals" Law".
The following minimal editorial changes have been made to this document.
--- Added notes on the simultaneous acquisition of compression force and displacement in the drop weight impact test step (see 8.2).
Introduction
Porous and honeycomb metals have excellent properties due to their unique cellular pore structure.
High-speed compression characteristics are essential for industrial design when designing impact-absorbing components.
The high-speed compression deformation is obviously different from its static compression characteristics. Therefore, the static compression deformation test method is not suitable for high-speed compression test.
Standardized test methods for high-speed compression of cellular and cellular metal materials are imperative.
