Scope
GB/T 32101-2015 is the English-translated version of 麦芽糖醇和麦芽糖醇液（工业用）.
GB/T 32101-2015 specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage of maltitol and maltitol liquid for industrial use.
Clause 1 states that it applies to maltitol and maltitol liquid (industrial) produced from starch as the raw material by liquefaction, saccharification, hydrogenation, refining and other processing.
Clause 2 cites GB/T 601, GB/T 603, GB/T 6678, GB/T 6682-2008, GB 28307 and QB/T 2335-2012. Clause 3 gives the chemical name, molecular formula, relative molecular mass and structural formula of the product: 4-O-alpha-D-glucopyranosyl sorbitol, C12H24O11, and a relative molecular mass of 344.31 taken from the 2007 international atomic weight table.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the maltitol and maltitol liquid (industrial) product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, Transportation and storage.
This standard applies to starch as raw materials, processing technology, liquefaction, saccharification, hydrogenation, refining and other production of liquid maltitol and maltitol (industrial use).
