1 Scope

This document specifies general requirements for the performance of object detection systems (ODSs) and their visual aids (VAs) used on earth-moving machinery and description methods for evaluation and testing, including the following.

--- Surveillance and/or visualization of objects including personnel in the surveillance area;

---Visual and/or audible alarms for test personnel and personnel in the monitoring area (if applicable);

--- Reliability of system operation;

--- System compatibility and environment description.
