GB/T 31412-2015 is the English-translated version of 色漆和清漆用漆基 羟值的测定 滴定法.
GB/T 31412-2015 — This standard specifies the method for the determination titration paints and varnishes and paints based solution free hydroxyl groups. This can hydroxyl polyols, partial in the form of an ester, polyester or hydroxy fatty acid end groups present.
This standard does not apply to a hydroxyl-containing resin and epoxy two basic groups, since the latter are also included in the results. This standard does not apply to Phenolic resin or nitrocellulose.
Note. If the binder solution only measured hydroxyl value based paint, the other components may contain hydroxy binder solution must be taken into account. Determination of hydroxyl number of epoxy resin by ISO 7142:2007 will be specified.
