1 Scope

3 Terms and Definitions
GB/T 12604.1, GB/T 12604.4 and GB/T 20737 and defined by the following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Ultrasound acousto-ultrasonic sound
A use-induced stress wave detection and assessment of the subject member state diffusion defect, NDT injury status and changes in mechanical properties method.
Note. The sound is detected ultrasonic acoustic emission signal analysis and ultrasonic material characterization methods.
3.2 Detection interval
When sound testing, the probe is moved away from the reception to the same scanning interval.
3.3 Maximum allowable flaw
Cast member does not exceed the design or manufacture of the relevant standards for the maximum size of the defect.
3.4 Maximum detection distance
Under certain conditions the sensitivity, excitation maximum attainable detection distance between the probe and the receiving probe.
