Scope

GB/T 30839.47-2018 is the English-translated version of 工业电热装置能耗分等 第47部分:电热浴炉.

GB/T 30839.47-2018 grades the energy consumption of electric heating bath furnaces, the resistance furnaces that heat metal parts in a liquid medium such as a salt, alkali or oil bath.

It defines the energy consumption parameters, including specific electricity consumption in kW·h/t and no-load power loss in kW, sets the energy consumption range, classifies the parameters into grades with their indicators and gives the test method used to measure them, relying on the GB/T 10066 test methods for electric heating equipment.

It also covers similar baths such as metal baths. Furnace manufacturers, industrial users and testing and arbitration bodies use it to assess the energy level of a furnace and its consumption in service. It was issued on 7 June 2018 and has applied since 1 January 2019.

This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This part of GB/T 30839 specifies the general requirements for energy consumption classification of various types of electric heating baths, including energy consumption parameters and energy consumption of electric heating bath furnaces. Enclosure, energy consumption parameter classification and indicators, and test methods.

This part is applicable to electric heating bath furnaces used by industrial enterprises for heat treatment of metal parts in salt bath, alkali bath or oil bath. Similar electric baths, such as metal baths.

This part of the power supply hot bath furnace manufacturer, electric heating bath users in industrial production and related testing and arbitration institutions, assessment and evaluation of electric heating bath The energy consumption level of the furnace product and the energy consumption status during the actual use process to promote the improvement of the manufacturing level of the electric heating bath furnace to achieve energy saving and consumption reduction purpose.

This part can be used to develop a standard reference for energy consumption in the production process of electric heating bath furnaces.

3.1 Electric heating bath furnace

An electric resistance furnace that uses a liquid as a medium for heating.

Note: According to the different liquid medium used, it is divided into salt bath furnace, alkali bath furnace, oil bath furnace and so on. The electric heating bath is generally of a vertical structure with the furnace mouth facing up and the working area being square or Round, the workpiece is heated in suspension.

3.2 Specific electric consumption

The electric heater treats the electrical energy consumed by the unit charge or workpiece under the conditions specified by the test method.

Note: The unit of unit energy consumption is kilowatt-hours per ton (kW·h/t).

3.3 No-load power loss

The power lost by the furnace portion of the electric bath without the charge at the rated steady operating temperature.

Note: The unit of empty furnace loss is kilowatts (kW).
