Introduction
Postural support device (PSD), as wheelchair cushions or upholstery attachment, people with disabilities have been widely used. How to choose or to prescribe the most appropriate Postural support device (PSD) prescription, should be based on scientific information it can withstand a static, impact and fatigue strength capacity of this section is intended to Specifications and test methods to provide information.
Testing included the PSD mounted on a rigid test fixture (similar to installing wheelchair vehicle), as applied to everyday use similar commitments by static forces, the impact and fatigue strength. Worst use of a rigid fixture usage provided, to avoid damage to the wheel at different repeat test chair. Currently, there is no part of the present embodiment requires a predetermined minimum, typically, the test procedure is gradually increased until the biasing force One or more of the failure of the test, the force applied to a specific value for the fatigue test until failure of one or more tests, the test does not exceed the requirements the number of cycles.
