Introduction

GB/T 30104 "Digital Addressable Lighting Interface" (all parts) specifies a method for controlling electronic lighting devices via digital signals.

The proposed bus system will consist of the following components.

Part 103 provides general requirements for control devices; Part 104 provides general requirements for control equipment; Part 105 provides general requirements for control devices.

General requirements for wireless and other wired system components; Part 150 specifies the requirements for auxiliary power supply, which may be independent.

It can be built-in or integrated into a control device or control equipment.

Special requirements for control devices for specific types of light sources.

Special requirements for each type of input device.

GB/T 30104 is published as a series of standards, divided into several parts, providing specific regulations for various types of equipment, with the aim of facilitating the standardization process.

Use and maintenance;

This document will be used in conjunction with GB/T 30104.101 and GB/T 30104.102.

The structure of the series of standards is shown in Figure 1 below.

Other parts also include additional supplementary requirements.

Unless otherwise stated, all numbers used in this document are decimal numbers. Hexadecimal numbers are given in 0xVV format.

In the system of numbers, "x" represents "any value".

Use the following typographical methods.

Variable. "variable name" or "variable name [3.0]", only the 3rd to 0th characters of the variable name are given.

Range of values. [minimum, maximum].

Command. "Command name".

Digital addressable lighting interface Part 150: Special Requirements for Auxiliary Power Supply

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 30104.101 and GB/T 30104.102, as well as the following terms and definitions, apply to this document.

auxiliary power supply the unit that provides power to the bus unit.

4 Auxiliary power supply

4.1 General Provisions

The auxiliary power supply specified in this document can provide 24V DC power to power the controller, occupancy sensor, photosensitive sensor or other devices.

It eliminates the need for AC/DC power supplies in such devices, and also eliminates the need for corresponding surge suppressors and electromagnetic interference filters.

Overview of auxiliary power supply characteristics (for reference).

- The auxiliary power supply can provide an average power of 3W and a pulse power of 6W;

- Average output voltage. For loads with peak values of 0.1W to 6W, it will be maintained at a level of 24V (1±10%);

- Under permissible load conditions, including open circuit, the maximum output voltage shall not exceed 30V;

- Start-up time. After connecting to mains power, the auxiliary power supply must reach 90% of the rated voltage within 600ms.

The auxiliary power supply can be a separate unit or it can be arbitrarily combined and integrated with the control device, control equipment, or bus power supply.

Figure 2 shows the combination of auxiliary power supply, a bus unit, and a bus power supply.
