Scope

GB/T 29265.402-2017 is the English-translated version of 信息技术 信息设备资源共享协同服务 第402部分:应用框架.

GB/T 29265.402-2017 is Part 402 of GB/T 29265 and sets out the application framework through which information devices exchange media data and file data streams under the basic protocol of resource sharing and collaborative services.

It defines the interaction process modes between devices, the message formats of requests and responses, and the format in which a device describes the service it offers.

Separate clauses give the audio-video, DVD and file application frameworks.

It applies to computers, household appliances and communication equipment that share resources over wired or wireless connections within a limited range, defines terms such as AV multicast device group, IGRS dynamic service invocation module, IGRS service, IGRS client and IGRS device, and cites GB/T 29265.201-2017 and GB/T 29265.302-2017. It was issued on 12 May 2017 and has applied since 1 December 2017.
