Scope
GB/T 29250-2012 is the English-translated version of 远红外线干燥箱.
GB/T 29250-2012 covers far infrared ovens.
Clause 1 says the standard specifies the conditions of use, the requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the marking, packaging, transport and storage of the far infrared oven, which the text calls the infrared box, and that it applies to the ovens that dry and bake goods by means of a far infrared radiation generator, commonly called the far infrared radiator or radiation element.
Clause 2 cites GB/T 191-2008, GB/T 2829-2002, GB 4793.1-2007 and GB 4793.6-2008.
The table of contents runs 1 Scope, 2 Normative references, 3 Conditions of Use, 4 Product Category, 5 Requirement, 6 Test Method, 7 inspection rules, 8 signs, packaging, transportation and storage, and a normative Appendix A on a test of the infrared box whose title the draft garbles.
Clause 3 is the only one the draft shows: its 3.1 sets the environmental conditions, indoor use, a temperature of 5 to 35 degrees Celsius, a maximum relative humidity of 80 per cent below 31 degrees falling linearly to 67 per cent at 35 degrees, an atmospheric pressure of 80 kPa to 106 kPa, no direct sunlight or radiation from other heat sources, pollution degree 2 and no strong vibration or air flow nearby; its 3.2 sets the supply conditions, a rated voltage of AC 220 V or 380 V with a deviation from minus 15 to plus 10 per cent and a rated frequency of 50 Hz within plus or minus 2 per cent, and allows for the typical transient overvoltages of the grid; and its 3.3 sets the load conditions, where the mass placed per cubic metre of chamber volume is not to exceed 80 kg.
The draft breaks off inside 3.3, so the requirements, test methods and inspection rules clauses are not shown. The standard was proposed by China Machinery Industry Federation, which the page also names as the body in charge of it, and is filed under ICS 19.040 and Chinese classification N61. It was issued on 31 December 2012 and has applied since 1 June 2013.
