Scope
GB/T 29090-2012 is the English-translated version of 电池废料的取样方法.
GB/T 29090-2012 is the Chinese national method for sampling battery scrap, the step that decides whether an analysis of the waste means anything.
It gives the terms and definitions, the sampling tools, the sampling points and the number and mass of the increments, how the increments are combined and reduced into the laboratory sample, how the samples are labelled and what the sampling report must contain.
It applies to battery waste arising anywhere in production, use and distribution. Recyclers, smelters and the laboratories that value a lot of scrap use it. Issued on 31 December 2012, it has applied since 1 October 2013.

Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
This standard by the national non-ferrous metals Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC243) centralized.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the battery waste sampling terms and definitions, sampling tools, sampling, and the number of parts of the sample volume, sampling, sample mixing and reduced step by step, like Label products, sample reports.
This standard applies to sampling all production processes, use and circulation generated by the battery waste.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Battery Scrap
It refers to the used batteries and waste yuan (device) member, waste zero (the Department) of waste and raw materials. Including battery scrap generated in the process of industrial production, newspaper Waste of semi-finished products, waste yuan (device) pieces of zero (the Department) of waste and raw materials, as well as daily life or circulation produced lost the use of value battery.
3.2 Batch lot
It brings together a number of the same kind of battery scrap. Among them, the same kind of battery waste is in accordance with GB/T 26724, GB/T 26932 Provisions of the same category, the same category, the same level of battery scrap.
