Scope

GB/T 2900.101-2017 is the English-translated version of 电工术语风险评估.

GB/T 2900.101-2017 fixes the electrotechnical vocabulary of risk assessment.

It is Part 101 of GB/T 2900 and the identical adoption, by the translation method, of IEC 60050-903:2013, the risk assessment part of the International Electrotechnical Vocabulary; the entry numbers are those of the IEC document, so the definitions run from 903-01-01 onwards.

It defines harm as injury or damage to people, property or livestock, and then hazard, hazard zone, hazardous event, hazardous situation, incident, risk as the combination of the probability and the severity of harm, risk analysis and risk evaluation, several of them with notes on how the term is used.

It is written for the fields in which risk assessment is applied. It was issued on 1 November 2017 and has applied since 1 May 2018.

GB/T 2900 "Electrical Terms" consists of many parts.

This section GB/T 2900 Part 101.

This section drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.

This section uses the translation method identical with IEC 60050-903:2013 "International Electrotechnical Vocabulary Part 903: Risk Assessment." The terminology entry numbers in this section are consistent with IEC 60050-903:2013.

This section applies to the field of risk assessment technology involved.

2 Terms and definitions

903-01-01 Harm

Injury or damage to people, property and livestock.

903-01-02 Dangerous

Potential causes of injury.

Note: The term "danger" can be defined by its root cause (eg, mechanical or electrical) or its potential for harm (eg, electric shock hazard, crushing hazard, cutting hazard, poisoning Danger, danger of fire, danger of drowning).

903-01-03 Hazard zone

In the area of and/or around products, processes or services, humans or livestock are exposed to hazardous areas.

903-01-04 Hazardous event

An event that can cause harm.

Note: Dangerous events can occur in the short or long term.

903-01-05 Dangerous situation

People, property and livestock or their environment are exposed to at least one danger.

Note: This exposure may cause injury immediately or over time.

903-01-06 Incident

Dangerous event that has occurred.

An incident that has occurred and has caused an injury called an accident. However, the incident that occurred but did not result in injury was a spree.

903-01-07 Risk

The combination of the probability and severity of the injury.

903-01-08 Risk analysis

Use valid information systematically to identify and estimate the risk.

903-01-09 Risk assessment

Based on risk analysis to determine if the process of admissible risks is achieved.
